Legal review of draft laws (laws) in 2012
In 2012, the Institute for Monitoring of the Current Legislation under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan carried out legal review of a number of bills and laws, and prepared more than 110 expert conclusions (about expediency of adoption / inexpediency of adoption / of the bill (law) after elimination of the revealed shortcomings).
Conclusions of the Institute are exclusively advisory in nature. The analysis of the adopted laws and the conclusions presented by the Institute showed that about 80% of conclusions presented by the Institute are taken into consideration by the bodies of a legislative initiative.
